Review: What if it’s Us

Hello, hello! Today I will be reviewing a collaborative project from 2018 by Adam Silvera and Becky Albertalli, What if it’s us (without the interrogation mark.) I would not be lying in saying that this book changed me. I’ll never be the same.

What if it’s us was recommended to me by Goodreads after I read Simon vs The Homo sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli whose review you can read Here. I have never read any of Adam Silvera’s books but I am really looking forward to reading them (one of his books is literally titled “They Both Die at the End” like woah, spoiler much? 😂)

Review: Simon vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda

It’s June. It’s Pride month. And I am going on a self induced torture which I am calling Reading Marathon Mania where I am going to read as many LGBTQIA+ related books as I could. I am not following any list or recommendations, I am going to read all and any LGBTQIA+ book I come across in this duration. Like a Maniac, yes.

Hey and I am back again with a very queer book for this gay, beautiful month.

I am talking about a book which got a movie adaption last year and since then it has been the talk of the Queer town and is a little bit too hyped for my liking. I am talking about Simon vs The Homo sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. Yes, the one on which the movie, Love, Simon is based on.

So, strap up you metaphorical seat belts (I hope you are not reading this while you are driving) and let’s dive straight (kinda) into the reviewing of Simon vs The Homo sapiens Agenda.

Review: Captive Prince Trilogy

Hello, again!

I am in a daze as I come back from reading the Captive Prince Trilogy by C. S. Pacat in 4 days flat. And just now, while I was further researching about the author and her books, I have learned that she has written a collection of short stories which happened during or after the Captive Prince series.

and hence, this review has been delayed.

I will be giving a general series review and then a detailed review of each book while trying to keep it spoiler-free.

So without further ado, let’s go!

Review: The Song of Achilles

Here is a review for the book which tore my soul apart in the most beautiful way possible.

I  went into this book knowing about the love and legend of Achilles and Patroclus. But this did not stop the rush of emotions overpowering me. If anything, knowing what Fates had planned for them only made the The Song of Achilles even more of a tragedy than it already is.
