I am not very verbose. I am more of a thinker than a speaker. Usually you will find me reading something or the other. For me its an addiction. because reading opens up doors to a world very different from my own. Books give me an opportunity to ponder on the thoughts of other people and experience life from a different point of view.
I have been reading this amazing book by Gregory David Roberts, Shantaram.
I am sure many of you might have heard of this book.
This book with really small font size and a whooping 933 pages is based majorly in Mumbai of 1980s. Bombay as I would like to call it in this context.
But for me, this book means a lot more than a well written novel about the city I love. You see, each character in this book has a past, has something to say, a lot to share and the little that is written and of what I understand seems to give me a much better perspective of life than anything I have read till date.
I would like you read the following excerpt from Shantaram.
This is a conversation between a very, very influential man, Khaderbhai and his apprentice, the author of the book (here, Lin)

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Hello and welcome to Mindscape Diary!
This is a place where I share my view, my thoughts and parts of my mindscape.
There are few things going on in my mind from past few days and its related to serious topics of stress, depression and mysteries of future.
While I was thinking on it and typing another post which happens to be on stress ( which you can view here
) I couldn’t help but laugh at the Indian mentally when it comes to education.
Every parent wants his or her child to study in best school.
But many parents want their kids to study in best school which is better than that neighborhood kid, Rahul.

Have you ever wondered how is it like to feel like a stranger?
Like a fish out of water,
Like a teardrop in a loud laughter,
Like love in a heart of a hater!
Have you ever wondered how is it like to feel lost?
Like a drop in the ocean,
Like a needle in a haystack,
Lost… that you don’t know white from black!
Like walking straight in a destination,
When you know there is no way to go back!
Have you ever wondered how is it like to feel so confused?
That you don’t know,
when you’re treated nicely
And when you are abused!
Have you ever felt so much low?
And you don’t know what to do or where to go?
When you see all the doors around you are locked and closed!
Have you ever wondered how is it like to be in a non-stop stress?
When you never feel so sure about something you always have to guess!
when you feel like crying out loud
And spit that burden of these hard feelings inside you
However, these feelings you have to keep & suppress
Although, you are in the greatest need for a gentle caress!
Had anyone felt so much pain like this before?
‘Cause that’s what I really feel… maybe even more!
I don’t wanna feel like a stranger
I don’t wanna feel lost
I don’t wanna feel confused
I don’t wanna be in a non-stop stress
I just want to stop this dreadful feeling of loneliness!
Have You Ever Wondered?

How are you?!
October is officially over but my head is still stuck in March.
This year flew by quicker than an electron! ( Which takes less than 18 seconds to get around the globe.)
Anyhow, my last post was almost three months back and that’s crazy! I had my exams and all yeah but I have my Vacations now (kind of) and I am here, procrastinating.
But I have been super active on Instagram and have been passionately posting drawings and colouring projects for this very amazing 30 Day Colouring Challenge by The Daily Marker (Instagram: @/kathyrac)
I, till date, have never completed any task without rushing or with satisfaction. My room, art journal and computer is full of incomplete projects, drawings and articles. So this time I challenged myself to colour and post something every single day of October. I had it all planned but of course its me so I ended up missing last four days of October! I missed Halloween!
but here are drawing/doodles i did for #thedailymarker30day3
